Storage and pre-calibrating
Fruit with leaves is left stored at the reception for its immediate processing, while the bladless is pre-calibrated according to colour and size.
Once pre-calibrated it goes to the de-greening rooms, or to the confection lines.

Dumping
The dumping maschine is in charge of supplying the fruit to the confection lines.

Washing and drying
To ensure the proper function of the wash jets, before the campaign starts, the staff of the company calibrates the nozzles. The fruit goes through the washing unit, where it gets washed and desinfected with water and natural products.
Drying is done in a hot wind tunnel, so that fruit continues its process without residual moisture.
Washing and drying
Natural waxed
The waxing provides a film of natural wax of high brightness, which improves the external look, at the same time it gives a selective permeability on the surface of the citrus fruits, avoiding excessive loss of moisture.

Selection and gauge
The best fruits are selected and those not meeting the adecuate grade are dismissed, and stay to be used as Category II.
Once selected, washed and waxed, the calibration of the fruit is carried out for which we have an electronic gauge.

Manufacture
At Camp.al we do different types of confections:
Automatic embedding: This is done automatically making the boxes according to the specifications of the customer.
Manual embedding: To do this we have the embedding tables where the staff is located to position the product neatly in boxes according to size and type of confection.
Bulk: Carried out by automatic machines, filling the boxes with a steady weight.

Palletizing and labelling
We have two ways of palletizing.
Automatic: The palletizer stacks directly the boxes forming pallets.
Manual: The workers collect the boxes as they come out of the line and stack them forming the pallet.
All boxes are identified with the corresponding label, according to what is spezified in the PTZ-APPCC. (Trazability Plan).
Palletizing and labelling
Weighing, identification and strapping of pallets
All palets must be weighed and sealed, using the soil scale and the automatic strapping machine. All fruits of Campos de Alcalá,SL outlets are recorded in the expedition worksheet of the warehouse.

Storage
Prepared orders are stored in the pre-cooling rooms where they reach the appropiate temperature setting for their expedition.

Load and freight
Drivers position their trucks directly at the access to the pre-cooling rooms, so that the cold chain does not get interrupted. Once loaded the truck, the load note is issued together with the CMR (Contract of international transport of goods by road).
